A very wonderful hotel. Staff were incredibly kind and polite. The room (SPG gold upgrade to a suite) was amazing. And the restaurants are very nice and very inexpensive for a 5 star hotel, though pricey by thailand standards since you can literally walk to dozens of other local ones with insanely cheap prices. I had some issues but none that really detract from the hotel overall. With the 30% SPG discount card they gave me though, was very fair prices. Though the card is very confusing how it works and not explained well. From the website you'd think its a discount SPG members just get, but its not here, you must present the card, and its taken from you as a 1 time thing which is not written on the card. They kindly let me use multiples anyways due to the confusion. I got sick during my trip, which caused me to miss my elephant tour I booked with the concierge. Even though it's a third party that wouldn't let me cancel last minute, and I gave in to pay the full cancellation fee, they negotiated on my behalf to save me half the fee. Also had the elevator lose power while I was inside. A bit scary but they were on the intercom immediately and the management was super nice and apologetic about the incident, so can't fault them at all there. Would definitely go back :)
